Fixes overexposed specular maps for terrain, grass, rocks…
A Warm Greeting:
This mod (reshare) fixes the following issues in Crimson Desert:
1. Overly bright, overexposed specular maps for terrain textures, vegetation, small stones, boulders, rocks, and mountains.
2. Color correction for orange, yellow, and green.
3. Enhancing the color palette of very pale mountain ranges while simultaneously improving light reflections.
4. Changing the vegetation’s color palette to more natural shades of green.
5. A slight improvement in contrast, with new settings, mainly between shaded and lit sections of the scene.
This modification DOES NOT AFFECT GAME PERFORMANCE!
The screenshots were taken in FHD on an RX 9070. The game was set to maximum quality with Ray Regeneration and FSR 4.1 (Quality mode) enabled. In each of these locations, the average FPS was around 125 before and after enabling the mod.
INSTALATION
It’s simple. Please unzip the file (RAR) and copy the “bin64” folder to the game’s main directory—that’s it. The “ins” button toggles the mod on and off during gameplay.
IMPORTANT! All required files are included in the package; please do not update the mod with new ReShade librari
