Because 2–3 sockets is a joke and we all know it. This is an updated version of Extra Sockets that works with the latest patch. Now your gear can finally stop pretending it’s “balanced” and start being useful.
Requirements:
– JSON Mod Manager
What It Does
– Every eligible piece of gear can now go up to 5 sockets.
– Yes, all of them. No favorites. No weird exceptions.
– If something already had 5+ sockets, I left it alone. It’s already living its best life.
Why This Exists
– Vanilla socket distribution makes no sense.
– You find a cool weapon → 2 sockets
– You find an ugly one → 3 sockets
– Your favorite armor → 1 socket (why?)
– So instead of playing inventory simulator looking for “good base items,” this mod just says: “Fine. Everything gets 5. Go build what you want.”
1. Use the gear you actually like
2. Stack Abyss Gears properly
3. Stop hoarding 17 copies of the same item “just in case”
Installation JMM:
– Import the mod → Drag and drop the zip file
– Enable → Apply → Done
– If you install the wrong version and your game explodes, that’s on you
– Make sure you check “Overide: this version wins in conflict” in JMM before applying this mod.
Important:
– Make sure you check “Overide: this version wins in conflict” in JMM before applying this mod.
– Inventory UI might not display 5 sockets properly, go to the witch to confirm.
– Also, this socket mod interferes with axiom or lantern buff mods, so it dosent work together
– Also Includes: Restriction Removal
– Yep. This also removes Abyss Gear restrictions.
– Basically does the same thing as “Universal Abyss Gear” — meaning you can slot whatever you want, wherever you want.
– Because rules are optional now.

Do NOT overstack effects. Seriously.
The game has a hidden limit on how many effects your character can handle. If you go past it:
– Enjoy your infinite loading screen
– No error message
– No warning
– Just vibes and a stuck screen
This includes:
– Abyss Gear effects
– Axiom Bracelet effects
– Any other stacked bonuses
Highly recommended:
– Make a save before socketing
– Make another save after
– Reload and check if the game still likes you
If it loads, you’re good.
If it doesn’t… you learned something.
