This mod was inspired by Ivan Karpan’s No Intro, but uses the vanilla animation, only trimmed down and sped up, for that vanilla feel without the long wait. It is about 2s long instead of the vanilla ~13s.
Pair with my other mod, Faster Vanilla Load-In, for a faster vanilla based startup experience!
Installation instructions
– Download the Faster_Vanilla_Intro archive from this mod’s Files tab.
– Install it with JSON Mod Manager (or another MM that can manage raw mods), or extract the Faster_Vanilla_Intro.zip folder into your manager’s mods directory.
– Turn the mod on in the list, then click Update Mods to apply it to the game files.
– Launch the game and use Continue or Start and the transition to the loading screen should be about 1.5s vs the 7s for vanilla.
To remove the mod, turn it off in the mod manager you used and use that program’s restore or uninstall option if it has one.
