Tired of hunting for ore nodes across the map? This mod rebalances the loot table for Bears and Long Horn Deers, ensuring they always provide valuable materials. Designed with a “Gold Loop” economy in mind, this mod makes hunting a viable and rewarding alternative to traditional mining.
Features
– Guaranteed Gold: Bears and Long Horn Deers will now always drop Gold Ore upon defeat.
– The Jackpot: Added a very small chance to find a Diamond if you are extremely lucky.
– Balanced for Gameplay: The drop amounts are tuned to feel rewarding without breaking the game’s sense of progression.
– For the percentage guys: 100% gold ore drop. bear = 1- 3 ores . Deer 1 – 5 ores while Deer has a 10% chance diamond drop and 5% for Bear
– Update 1.1: added a 1% chance to drop Golden Apple, “happy farming vault hunters”.
For DMM (Definitive Mod Manager):
– Simply drag and drop the ZIP file directly into the DMM window.
For JMM (Json Mod Manager):
– Extract the ZIP file anywhere on your PC.
– Drag only the folder named
– “files”into your JMM window.

– This mod edits the files directly as I haven’t managed to make it work as a simple JSON patch yet. If you are a modder and want to help me convert this into a JSON patch, please feel free to leave a comment in the posts section!

– Once bosses become replayable, I plan to update the loot table for a specific gold-loving boss. The goal is to make his farm yield slightly more Gold Ore than bears, providing a high-tier farming alternative.

– Progress: Spend your wealth at Hernand’s Shop to perfect your build.
