This mod changes Kliff’s and/or Oongka’s voice to female. It is intended to be used with character swaps like “Playing Kliff as Damiane” by crubino and similar mods that change Kliff’s or Oongka’s appearance to female (see below for a small list).
– This is not an “AI dub”. I used a specialized AI model to process the original dialogue files. All of the original expression is preserved, only the voice timbre is changed. Yes, it sounds rough at times, but that’s what you get when you combine Kliff’s raspy scottish voice acting or Oongka’s super low voice with a female vocal timbre and pitch range! I prefer this to AI-only dubs anytime!
– I also replaced their combat and effort sounds with Damiane’s and processed the remaining ones.
– For Kliff, I also used matching original dialogue from Damiane instead of the processed versions where it was possible. This includes many of the open world activities like smaller quests, criminals, minigames and so on.
– Available in English, Korean and Chinese (they’re at different stages at the moment, read the sticky posts for updates!).
– Tested with game version 1.03.01 (Steam), JSON Mod Manager 9.9.1.
Installation Instructions
I recommend to use JSON Mod Manager.
1. Install JSON Mod Manager.
2. Download the .zip archive from my files.
3. Start JSON Mod Manager and drop the .zip archive onto the field “Drop mods here to install”. It should appear in the list of available mods on the left.
4. Activate the mod with the switch on the left. Combine with other mods.
5. Click “Apply Mods”. This can take some time.
6. Click “Start Game” or launch the game from Steam.
Known Issues
– Some processing artifacts, especially with effort sounds. I did my best to minimize those, but there are thousands of files, so I can’t hand-tune every single one.
– Some users reported that the effort sounds are muted after some dialogue scenes and come back later.
